About LPCC

Lois Panikoff Counseling & Coaching, LLC is led by Lois Panikoff, L.C.S.W, L.A.D.C.  For more than forty years Lois was a leader and founding partner of a large psychotherapy practice in Southeastern Connecticut. Today, she is recognized in the community for her direct, honest, and flexible approach. Her focus is on helping individuals to use their strengths to empower themselves and find alternative ways to view and adjust to life’s changes. Lois has vast knowledge and experience in helping adults dealing with mood and cognitive disorders, emotional challenges, and addictive behaviors. She also has expertise in working with couples and family conflicts.

While in private practice, Lois founded New Beginnings, an intensive outpatient substance abuse program. In addition, she has experience as a corporate trainer and workshop presenter and previously served as an instructor at Mohegan Community College.

Lois is a licensed independent clinical social worker as well as a licensed drug and alcohol counselor. She received her M.S.W. from the University of Connecticut and has completed post-graduate work in marriage and family therapy, divorce mediation, addictions, and life coaching.
